Tim began his New York Life career in December 2005 as an Agent in the Greater Philadelphia General Office.  He transitioned to the General Office Staff in May 2008 and was appointed into New York Life’s High Potential Employee Program in July 2010.  Tim earned his FLMI, ACS, AIAA, AIRC and ARA designations and is a graduate of DeVry University where he received his BS in Operations Management.  Tim was promoted into the Associate Administrative Manager position in August 2012 where he continued to grow in his career and wait for the opportunity to run an office of his own.

That chance came in June 2013, when Tim was promoted to the Administrative Manager position of the Albany General Office.  Tim is excited to be a part of this great management team, staff, and group of agents.  He looks forward to bringing his knowledge and experience to aide in the growth and development of this office.

 Tom graduated from the University of South Carolina, majoring in Corporate Finance & Economics.  He started his career with New York Life Insurance Company in 2008.  Soon after joining the New York Life family he qualified for his first Executive Council, out of the Fingerlakes General Office.   Since then Tom has qualified for numerous Councils and Centurion awards.  Knowledge of the financial services industry has always been a major priority for Tom as he continued to grow his business. 

Tom received his CLU® & LUTCF® designations from the American College and is always striving to absorb as much expertise on the knowledge behind the industry. 

Tom was promoted to Development Manager in January of 2013, in the Albany General Office & recently transitioned to the Partner Role.  He continues to sharpen his skills, but his focus has shifted to helping new and current agents at the Albany General Office, develop themselves and their careers in the insurance and financial services industry.

I have a very diverse, broad background in many areas.  I am a very goal oriented, positive and compassionate person.  I hold a strong passion for improving children’s quality of life, advocacy for victims and cancer patients.  My main life goal is to make a positive change in as many people’s lives as possible.

I was born and raised in New York and have 2 sons.  I studied Legal Studies at Kaplan University and achieved the honors of Presidents List for Academics. 

My career has taken many turns in life but included Modeling, Music Industry, Government, Real Estate and Writing.  My desire for writing began in 2010 when I was diagnosed with Cancer. I since completed three manuscripts for Children’s books and I plan on having them illustrated and published at the right time in the future. 

I began my career as a field agent in the Financial Services industry in 2014 at New York Life.  During these 2 years I earned the following recognitions:

In a little over 2 years I was promoted to my current role as a Partner with New York Life.  My inspirations include being promoted to Managing Partner in the future, but ultimately, “My Stand”, is who I am:

Anthony attended Dowling College and Suffolk Community College in Long Island New York.  He majored in Aviation and Business Management.  After College he attended FlightSafety Academy in Vero Beach Florida. After achieving his ratings, Anthony became a flight instructor and shortly after began flying a regional jet for USAir Express. After the 9/11 tragedy, he was furloughed from his pilots position and began managing his family’s Real Estate office for 8 years.

In 2009 Anthony began his career at New York Life’s Long Island General Office.   Looking to further his career, Anthony left the Agent role and joined the Albany G.O. team as a Development Manager in 2016.   

He is married to his beautiful wife Jennifer and has two wonderful children, AJ and Ella.  They spend their time enjoying their new home and exploring all that upstate NY has to offer!


Gerard Morra, Senior Associate

Gerard lives in Poughkeepsie NY and has lived in the Hudson Valley area the majority of his life. Gerard graduated from Penn State University in 2002 with a Bachelors degree in Business.

Gerard started his career in the Financial Services Business with AXA advisors in 2003 as an agent. He was promoted to Vice President in 2006 and managed a team of agents responsible for recruiting and development of his team. In 2007 he hurt his knee and decided to take a compliance role at Gilman and Ciocia in Poughkeepsie NY. At Gilman and Ciocia he worked his way up to Assistant Chief Compliance Officer and was responsible for overseeing all accepts of the firm's compliance program. After Gilman and Ciocia was purchased by National Securities Gerard was moved to a Regional Supervisor role and directly supervised the agents that were assigned to him. In September of 2016 Gerard started working with New York Life in the Home Office in Sleepy Hollow NY in the complaint review unit.

Gerard enjoys basketball, Jet Skiing, Motorcycling and most sports. He is married to his wonderful wife Megan for three years and their beautiful cat Madison.
